Position Summary
 Our client is hiring Manufacturing Technicians to support the production of aerospace molds, tooling, and composite components. This hands-on role includes composite layup, vacuum bagging, mold preparation, bonding, and curing processes. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow work instructions, drawings, and manufacturing procedures.

 Key Responsibilities
  • Perform wet layup and apply composite materials to molds
  • Clean, seal, and prepare molds using release agents
  • Laminate and vacuum bag parts according to specifications and quality standards
  • Support secondary bonding, potting, curing, and related composite manufacturing tasks
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
  • Read and follow travelers, build manuals, work instructions, inspection documents, and technical drawings
  • Cure composite parts using ovens, autoclaves, presses, and other approved equipment
  • Follow internal, customer, FAA, and aerospace quality requirements
  • Complete assigned work while meeting quality, safety, and production standards
 
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of manufacturing or production experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and understand specifications, technical drawings, and written work instructions
  • Experience using hand and power tools such as drills, sanders, and grinders
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in composite fabrication or related manufacturing processes
  • Experience with laminating, layup, or vacuum bagging
  • Experience in aerospace, aviation, or another regulated manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of composite materials, fabrication methods, and quality standards
  • Ability to work safely and follow detailed procedures
 
Employment Type & Compensation
  • This is a Full-Time | Direct Hire 
  • Pay rate is $22.00 – $27.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Application Window: Open until filled 
Work Schedule
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:45 AM – 12:15 AM + 10% Shift Differential
