Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and efficient operation of facility equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will be skilled in basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repair work, committed to safety, and capable of performing both routine and preventative maintenance tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and efficient operation of facility equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will be skilled in basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repair work, committed to safety, and capable of performing both routine and preventative maintenance tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor and routine maintenance activities including painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, and related tasks using appropriate hand tools.
- Conduct and record routine and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
- Maintain and clean wash tanks in the paint area and perform regular maintenance on the cure oven.
- Notify management of major repair needs or unsafe conditions.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe operating conditions.
- Follow all safety procedures and comply with hazardous waste handling and reporting standards.
- Perform additional duties assigned to support maintenance and production operations.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous maintenance or facility repair experience preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, manuals, and schematics.
- Demonstrated organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $24.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience
