URGENT NEED
Position Summary
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of assigned production workstations in line with the company's manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating various manual and automated equipment in the production process
- Work and train with Maintenance to be able to perform repairs and assist in machine change overs
- Provides quality work and ensure accurate recordings
- Adhering to all company policies including but not limited to: GMP, PPE, Food Safety, Safety, Gluten Free, Sanitation, etc.
- Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and following safety regulations
- Determine and report malfunctions to the appropriate people
- Performing preventative maintenance on machines as required
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery preferred
- Great attention to detail
- Basic math and reading comprehension
- Good overall knowledge of safety, sanitation, manufacturing operations and quality
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Ability to use basic technology (Will be utilizing Outlook, Safefood, etc.)
- Ability to lift and/or move weight up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work standing, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms
Schedule and Pay
- 2-2-3 schedule
- 12 Hour Shifts | Days | 6:00am-6:00pm
- 12 Hour Shifts | Nights | 6:00pm-6:00am
- Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
- Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
