Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to support shipping, receiving, and production operations at a manufacturing facility in Huntersville, NC. Responsibilities include moving finished products, supplying production lines with materials, loading and unloading trailers, and accurately tracking inventory using scanners and computer systems.

We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to support shipping, receiving, and production operations at a manufacturing facility in Huntersville, NC. Responsibilities include moving finished products, supplying production lines with materials, loading and unloading trailers, and accurately tracking inventory using scanners and computer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move finished products from production lines to designated storage areas
- Supply production lines and equipment with the materials needed to maintain consistent workflow.
- Load and unload trailers while following proper handling and safety procedures.
- Maintain pallet wrappers and ensure an adequate supply of pallets and other necessary materials.
- Use scanners and computer systems to record, track, and report materials and finished goods.
- Assist for shipping, receiving, production, and other departments with material movement and warehouse tasks.
- Move bulk trash and recycling using a forklift as needed.
- Maintain forklift cleanliness and sanitation and report mechanical issues or equipment damage promptly.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), personal protective equipment (PPE), food safety, and sanitation requirements.
- Complete and pass the required in-house forklift certification training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous forklift operating experience required, preferably in manufacturing, production, shipping, or receiving.
- Demonstrated ability to safely move materials, handle finished goods, and load or unload trailers.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use scanners and navigate programs such as Excel, SAP, and email.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Understanding workplace safety, sanitation, manufacturing operations, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track materials and finished goods.
- Consistent work history demonstrating reliability and dependability.
- Must complete and pass the required in-house forklift certification.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 45 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical activities as required: stand, walk, bend, use hands and fingers.
Additional Work Schedule Information:
- Friday – Sunday shift employees are currently being offered the option to work an additional day on Monday. This is not a requirement.
