Our client is seeking a Bid Manager to support their sales and operations team in Plainfield. This role will manage the full bid and proposal process, ensure accurate and compliant submissions while working closely with Sales and Finance to evaluate opportunities and support revenue growth. This is a detail-oriented, deadline-driven role with a mix of administrative execution and strategic support.

Schedule
  • Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage bid process from opportunity identification through submission  
  • Review RFPs/RFQs and determine requirements, timelines, and compliance needs  
  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and internal teams to gather information for proposals  
  • Develop, edit, and finalize proposal content  
  • Ensure all submissions meet deadlines and procurement requirements  
  • Maintain documentation including W9, COI, ACH, and related materials  
  • Conduct research on competitors and bid opportunities  
  • Support pricing and cost inputs in partnership with Finance  
  • Track bid activity, win rates, and pipeline support  
  • Assist with post-bid follow-up and process improvements

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in bid management, proposals, or related role  
  • Experience working with RFPs/RFQs or bid submissions  
  • Strong organizational and time management skills  
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred  
  • Experience with GovSpend, BuyBoard, or similar bid platforms  
  • Background in sales support, operations, or finance  
  • Experience with pricing, cost support, or competitive research
