Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support equipment, facility, and production maintenance in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, equipment installation, and general facility maintenance. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, can work independently with minimal supervision, and is comfortable working with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshoot production equipment, machinery, and facility systems with minimal supervision.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures, disassemble equipment, and complete necessary repairs; assist with machinery installation and outside contractors as needed.
  • Build, modify, and install Flexpipe workstations and material-flow systems by reading blueprints, measuring materials, cutting components, and assembling equipment to specifications.
  • Perform general facility and production support installations, including cabinets, shelving, furniture, storage racks, and other equipment.
  • Maintain facility systems using basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge, including meters, unit heaters, air lines, valves, cylinders, pumps, hoses, furnaces, air conditioning systems, industrial ovens, and exhaust fans.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, equipment assets, PM schedules, and inventory using maintenance management software; maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of technical training in industrial maintenance or building repair/maintenance, or four years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions in English, as well as facility blueprints.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using power tools and basic electrical meters.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and scissor lifts and perform assigned duties using required safety equipment.
  • Flexible and dependable, with the ability to participate in an on-call maintenance rotation when required.
Additional Skills:
  • Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC, plumbing, equipment installation, and preventive maintenance is highly valued.  
Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday | 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Compensation:
  • $19.30 – $ $28.26 per hour, based on experience
