Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Powder Coat Technician to support chassis production in Goshen, IN. This position is responsible for preparing and coating chassis using established powder coating procedures and quality standards. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, can safely operate coating equipment, and is comfortable performing physically demanding work in a production environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Move sandblasted chassis into the designated paint booth and prepare them for coating.
  • Remove dust, debris, and contaminants from chassis using an air hose.
  • Apply powder coating according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Operate coating equipment, pumps, compressors, heating units, and other production tools.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of coating equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Read and follow work orders, frame prints, measurements, and production instructions.
  • Meet daily production and quality goals while maintaining a safe and organized work area.
Requirements:
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
  • Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred; training may be provided.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to safely operate and learn various production equipment.
Physical Requirements:  
  • Ability to lift and maneuver materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and use required PPE.
  • Ability to rotate between production functions as needed.
Schedule:
  • 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
Compensation
  • $21.00 per hour
