Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume manufacturing operation specializing in CNC machining, centerless grinding, and commercial heat treat processes. This position will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment, including CNC machinery, heat treat equipment, furnaces, and related mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and keep production running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume manufacturing operation specializing in CNC machining, centerless grinding, and commercial heat treat processes. This position will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment, including CNC machinery, heat treat equipment, furnaces, and related mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and keep production running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC machining equipment, centerless grinding equipment, heat treat equipment, furnaces, and other manufacturing machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues
- Diagnose electrical problems involving motors, sensors, controls, switches, relays, and other industrial electrical components
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on heat treat equipment, including carburizing furnaces, temper furnaces, induction equipment, and related production systems
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production downtime, identifying root causes and completing repairs to return equipment to service
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, lubrication, adjustments, component replacement, and other reliability activities
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications, continuous improvement projects, and facility maintenance while maintaining accurate maintenance records and following safety and 5S standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience maintaining CNC machinery, automated manufacturing equipment, or similar industrial equipment
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, motor, sensor, and mechanical systems; experience with heat treat equipment, furnaces, or CNC equipment is highly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation, troubleshoot independently, and respond effectively to production equipment issues
Schedule:
- 1st Shift, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Compensation:
- $62,400 – $72,800 annually, based on experience
