Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable General Laborer to support daily production operations in a manufacturing environment. This position involves operating equipment and machines, using air tools, reading measurements, and performing hands-on production tasks. The ideal candidate has good hand dexterity, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to reliable attendance.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor bending machinery to manufacture window components according to production specifications.
- Set up machines, adjust settings, and ensure proper operation for optimal production efficiency.
- Perform routine quality inspections to verify product accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and production requirements to ensure precision.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following all safety policies and procedures.
- Identify and report equipment issues, malfunctions, or production defects to supervisors.
- Assist with machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Handle and move materials safely throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support efficient workflow and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure to ensure products meet required specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and operate production equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting production goals.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 5:30 am -1:30 pm or 3:30 pm (overtime)
- Occasional Saturdays 6-8 hours overtime available
Compensation:
- $18.00 per hour
