Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to support production operations at our client’s manufacturing facility in Howe, IN. In this position, you will be responsible for the movement of raw and finished materials through various phases of production.

We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to support production operations at our client’s manufacturing facility in Howe, IN. In this position, you will be responsible for the movement of raw and finished materials through various phases of production.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance of raw material inventory (frame parts, I – beam, etc.), including unloading of delivery vehicles
- Coordination of necessary paperwork at the time of material receipt
- Movement of raw material through the production area
- Movement of chassis through production area
- Movement of completed chassis from production area to chassis holding area and/or coating area
- Movement of completed chassis to chassis drying area and/or chassis holding area
- Maintenance of the exterior yard including plowing, grading, etc.
- Rotation of position into production team structure as necessary
- Assistance in repair work as necessary
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Lift Truck operator’s licensed preferred (training available)
- Able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company’s overall goals
- Clear verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Read and process written communication including, but not limited to, work orders, delivery receipts, frame prints, and measurements
- Able to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Able to operate a Lift Truck or Tractor as necessary
- Able to operate appropriate equipment including radios, stabilization devices, tape measures, etc.
- Able to physically lift and maneuver weights more than fifty pounds
- Must be highly organized
- Possess successful problem-solving skills
- Able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes throughout the day.
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $19.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience
- Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
- 2nd shift | 5:00pm-3:30pm Monday-Thursday | 3:00pm-11:30pm on Fridays
