Position Summary
We are searching for an experienced Welding Supervisor/Technician to oversee our client's daily welding operations at their Fremont, IN location. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise with ASME welding processes and pressure vessel fabrication standards. This role is responsible for leading a team of skilled welders, maintaining production quality, and driving continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the welding department to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to welders, ensuring compliance with ASME codes and internal procedures.
  • Oversee weld inspections, documentation, and reporting to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify process improvements and resolve fabrication issues.
  • Monitor equipment, materials, and workflow to support smooth operations and minimize downtime.
  • Implement and enforce safety and quality practices to promote a productive and compliant work environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong understanding of ASME welding codes, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
Employment Type & Compensation
  • This is a Full-Time | Direct Hire position  
  • Pay rate is $32.00 per hour
