Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator – Cable Print & Spooler for a 2nd shift manufacturing position in Faribault, MN. In this role, you will operate and monitor cable printing and spooling equipment to ensure products are produced accurately, efficiently, and according to quality standards. Responsibilities include setting up machines, verifying print specifications, monitoring spool quality, and maintaining consistent production flow in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely while meeting production goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate the cable print machine and extrusion line to manufacture cable products that meet quality standards
  • Read, understand, and execute job orders and production requirements
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to machine operation and product manufacturing
  • Perform required quality control checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications
  • Accurately complete and maintain all required production documentation, including daily production reports, tally sheets, and scrap reports
  • Enter production data and documentation into Epicor
  • Set up, operate, and disassemble equipment using appropriate hand tools
  • Monitor equipment performance and report issues or concerns as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical or vocational training in manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field preferred    
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating manufacturing or production machinery, or demonstrated mechanical ability and aptitude to learn equipment operation  
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred  
  • Experience working with ERP or production tracking systems (Epicor preferred)  
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation in a production environment  
  • Ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs.  
  • Comfortable with frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching    
Employment Type & Compensation
  • This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
  • Pay rate is $20.00 per hour
  • Application Window: Open until filled  
Work Schedule
  • 2nd Shift | Monday – Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
