Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Material Coordinator to support and oversee material flow operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Waukesha, WI. Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Material Coordinator to support and oversee material flow operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Waukesha, WI. This role is responsible for ensuring timely availability, accuracy, and movement of materials to support production schedules and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong inventory control experience, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate cross-functionally with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to minimize disruptions and optimize workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide, support, and help organize a team of material handlers to meet production and shipping needs
- Help define, improve, and enforce material handling process standards to drive accountability
- Regularly collaborate with production, planning, shipping, and receiving teams to prioritize material needs
- Support internal and external customers through timely and accurate material movement
- Execute all material transactions using Epicor (ERP) and Elliott (ERP) systems
- Read, understand, and act on job travelers, pick lists, and system-generated work assignments
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure material accuracy throughout the production process
- Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to material processing
- Comprehend and act on production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Operate various material handling equipment safely within the plant
- Clean, restock, and organize warehouse and material storage areas
- Adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely; this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma
- Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines, and visually inspect raw materials
- 4 years of experience in material handling in a manufacturing environment or proven knowledge and understanding of material handling best practices
- Experience using an ERP system
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English.
- Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and set priorities
- Outstanding attention to detail, organizational and coordination abilities
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent lifting, standing, bending, and reaching required

Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $26.00 – $29.00 per hour, based on experience
