We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Controls Service Technician to support service, diagnostics, and repair of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC controls. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong DDC experience who can troubleshoot complex systems, support integrations, and work across multiple platforms in a fast-paced service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair BAS/DDC systems across commercial facilities
- Perform service calls, including urgent and emergency response situations
- Program, modify, and support control systems using ladder logic and related tools
- Work across multiple platforms including Tridium Niagara, ABB (Cylon), Distech, Honeywell, and Johnson Controls
- Support system integrations and commissioning alongside project teams
- Document service work, updates, and recommendations with clear and detailed notes
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with BAS/DDC systems (diagnostics, programming, and repair)
- Strong understanding of ladder logic programming (DDC, PLC, or similar)
- Experience with one or more platforms: ABB/Cylon, Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls
- Valid driver’s license with a clean/insurable driving record
- Strong troubleshooting ability from system-level down to field devices and wiring
- Solid understanding of HVAC/mechanical systems and sequences of operation
- Computer proficiency and strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tridium Niagara (N4 certification a plus)
- Background working for a controls-focused company or division
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies

- Competitive hourly pay: $35 – $50/hour
