We are looking for an experienced Set-Up/Process Technician to oversee all tasks associated with Injection Molding machines, robots, dryers, grinders, and all other related manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing the correct molds/inserts into the correct machines
- Prepping and mixing raw materials for production
- Cleaning dryers, grinders, machine hoppers. Cleaning machine off; put all tools away after changeover
- Changing tools over according to which model is needed.
- Changing machine fan filters
- Using the correct tools for the job
- Answering machine alarms. Identifying and reporting issues and potential issues to the Plant Manager
- Fixing part defects, machine faults
- Adding oil and lubricating fluid to machines as needed
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Able to communicate effectively and respectfully with machine operators and Quality
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years' hands-on experience in plastic injection molding
- Set-ups, changeovers, tooling, machine maintenance
- Working knowledge in mechanical and technical injection mold machinery
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbal and written
- Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
