Position Summary
We are searching for a Senior Production Technician to support our client's manufacturing operations on the 2nd shift. In this position, you will serve as a key contributor on the production floor supporting pre-assembly operations through ability in process execution, quality assurance, documentation, and teamwork.    

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute production tasks in alignment with production schedules and priorities
  • Review and understand job orders and specifications
  • Interact with EPICOR (ERP) by accurately badging in and out of active job orders
  • Read, understand, and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) needed to safely and properly assemble products
  • Complete, maintain, and verify all required pre-assembly documentation
  • Safely and proficiently operate hand tools and power tools used in assembly operations
  • Perform and document in-process quality control checks and inspections
  • Ensure assemblies meet required specifications and escalate issues as needed
  • Support continuous quality improvement through attention to detail and process discipline
  • Collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot issues and solve production challenges
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely; this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection.  
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required  
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment  
  • Ability to read instructions, safely operate equipment, and visually inspect components and subassemblies  
  • Strong attention to detail with accuracy and timeliness in completing work assignments  
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on an intermittent basis  
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives in English
  • Ability to effectively use a tape measure and perform basic math
  • Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly
  • Comfortable with frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching
Employment Type & Compensation
  • This is a Full-Time | Temp-To- Hire position
  • Pay rate is $23.00 per hour
  • Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
  • 2nd Shift | Monday – Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
