We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Production Technician to support daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role provides hands-on leadership, ensures operational performance across key metrics, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and support production team members to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.
- Oversee daily fabrication and assembly activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred) for scheduling, material planning, and production tracking.
- Monitor KPIs and address performance gaps with corrective actions.
- Support standard work, root cause analysis, and process improvements.
- Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain equipment readiness.
- Promote a safe, organized, and high-performance work environment.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment; prior leadership experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Epicor MRP or similar production planning systems.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes and production equipment.
- Knowledge of Lean, 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma principles.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must adhere to required PPE (eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection).
