Job Summary
As a CNC Machinist on 2nd shift, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components in accordance with the manufacturer and customers' specifications. You will perform machine setups, tool changes, adjustments, quality inspections, minor troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of the equipment. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Machinery to produce precision parts and components in accordance with manufacturer and customers specifications
- Machine setup
- Tool changes
- Adjustments
- Quality inspections
- Minor troubleshooting
- Preventative maintenance of equipment
- Keep work area clean and free of clutter ensuring a safe working environment
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- Wear required PPE always
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-4+ years of experience in CNC machining, setup, adjustments, tool changes, etc.
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to operate/run and monitor multiple machines simultaneously
- Understanding of shop math
- Able to interpret and comprehend blueprints, technical drawings and documents
- Ability to program GDT preferred.
- Knowledgeable in the application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and similar quality control concepts is preferred.

- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, verbal and written
- Basic computer skills
- Working knowledge of measuring tools, micrometers, calipers
- Ability to work standing for extended periods of time
