Job Summary
We are searching for a Yard Spotter CDL A for a temporary position for one week to cover for our Yard Spotter while on vacation. In this role, you will be responsible for safely maneuvering trailers and vehicles within a logistics facility, ensuring efficient operations and timely loading and unloading.
Responsibilities
- Operate spotter trucks to move trailer safely within the yard and position them at loading docks
- Work closely with other team members to ensure all dock doors are loaded and unloaded efficiently
- Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating conditions
- Maintain accurate logs of all movements and comply with safety regulations and policies
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized yard, ensuring that main areas remain clear for efficient operations
Requirements
- 2 years of experience, or similar experience, Forklift certification required.
- Ability to sit on a powered industrial truck for extended periods. Follow instructions and keep complete and legible records.
- Valid CDL Class A License and a clean MVR is required
- A high degree of attention is required to prevent injury to others.
- Ability to position body to drive backward for extended periods. Ability to judge distances and heights. Have a good sense of balance.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs. if necessary.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on the season.

- Temporary position – Aril 6th – April 10th
- 6:00am-4:30pm | Monday-Friday
