We are seeking Warehouse Associates for a temporary wire cutting project in Olathe, KS. In this position, you will be responsible for operating a cutting machine to cut, coil, prepare and ship specialized wire, cable, and related materials to fulfill customer orders. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, great attendance, and great attention to detail.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Operate wire cutting machinery to prepare specialized wire cuts for shipment
- Calculate wire cutting length based on desired completion footage
- Visually inspec wire for imperfections and part number accuracy
- Load, unload, and move material in a safe manner manually or by using a forklift or other approved device
- Maintain the wire aisle/wall in an orderly manner to ensure the safety of others
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-year of warehouse operations experience
- Reach truck or forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to lift weight up to 50 pounds
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to operate warehouse equipment, including power equipment
- Steel or composite toed shoes/boots required. Additional PPE and training provided
