Job Summary
We are searching for a skilled and safety-oriented Warehouse Forklift Operator with proven experience operating reach trucks for a leading distribution center located in Sturtevant, WI. In this role, you will perform order picking, loading and unloading of trucks, inventory handling, and material movement throughout the facility. This position plays a vital role in supporting efficient warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate movement of inventory within a fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have prior reach truck forklift experience and a strong commitment to operational excellence, accuracy, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Support warehouse operations ensuring timely and accurate movement of inventory within a fast-paced logistics environment
- Operate reach truck forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse facility
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Order picking
- Inventory handling
- Adhere to company safety policies ensuring a safe working environment
- Wear required PPE always
- inspect forklift and perform basic maintenance as needed to ensure equipment is in good working order
- Report any issues with equipment to your immediate supervisor
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience preferred.
- Must be able to speak and understand the English language.
- Reach truck experience required. Forklift certifications a plus
- Ability to effectively lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout your shift. Ability to work 8+ hours standing, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, lifting.
- Must have a consistent work history.
- Steel Toe boots required (additional PPE provided)
