Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers while minimizing freight damage
- Move, stage, and organize freight throughout the dock
- Verify freight using shipping documents and scanning equipment
- Stack, wrap, and secure pallets for transport
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals
- Work effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and fellow warehouse team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company and OSHA safety standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including PPE requirements
- PPE required: Closed toe shoes, safety googles, solid color shirt, solid color shorts. No graphics on shirts
Qualifications & Skills
- 6 -12+ months of general warehouse or production experience (picking orders, packing, assembly, or production work)
- Previous forklift operation experience
- Experience using RF scanners or basic WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Packing and shipping experience: labeling, boxing, staging orders
- Experience operating light machinery (presses, basic production equipment, etc.) in a manufacturing environment
- Communication and time management skills
- Ability to perform repetitive hands-on tasks, standing for longs periods, and lifting and/or moving weights up to 50 lbs.
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Compensation: $18.25 per hour
- Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
- 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
