Position Summary
As the Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing materials to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This role supports warehouse operations through inventory, shipment processing, and safe material handling.

Position Summary
As the Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing materials to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This role supports warehouse operations through inventory, shipment processing, and safe material handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
- Load/unload trucks and move materials using a sit-down forklift
- Prepare, package, label, and stage outgoing shipments for carriers (UPS, LTL, etc.)
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize materials within the warehouse
- Coordinate outbound shipments and schedule pickups with carriers
- Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support general warehouse operations as needed
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–3+ years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience
- Sit-down forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in a physically active environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with inventory and documentation
- Basic computer/data entry skills (ERP/WMS experience is a plus)
- Ability to follow processes, work independently, and communicate effectively
- Experience with international shipping documentation (commercial invoices, customs paperwork, etc.)
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP platforms
- PPE required: Steel toes, eyewear, hearing protection
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $22.00 per hour
- Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
- 1st Shift | Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Occasional Friday OT
