Responsibilities
- Set up UV printers, load inks, calibrate print heads, and adjust machine settings for each job.
- Load, align, and inspect substrates; stack and label finished products for internal transport.
- Operate UV printing equipment and input production instructions using automated machine software.
- Perform ongoing quality checks to ensure color accuracy, resolution, and overall print quality; adjust equipment as needed.
- Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes to detect malfunctions and maintain performance standards.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, consumable replacement, and basic troubleshooting.
- Manage color profiles to ensure consistent color reproduction.
- Schedule and organize print jobs to meet production deadlines.
- Maintain accurate production data, machine settings, and maintenance records in Epicor.
- Collaborate with supervisors, designers, and quality teams to support smooth workflow.
- Follow SOPs, plant directives, and all safety and PPE requirements.
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies for continuous operation.
- Support process improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- At least 3 months of UV printing experience.
- Ability to read work instructions, safely operate machines, and inspect printed parts.
- Strong attention to detail with consistent accuracy and timely task completion.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical secondary education or vocational training in printing or graphic arts.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to perform simple math and interpret SOPs, process sheets, and tally/scrap reports.
- Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
- Proficiency with UV printer setup, operation, and software.
- Knowledge of color management and printing techniques.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance abilities.
Schedule:
- 1st shift, Friday-Sunday, 5:00am-5:30pm
