Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced UV Machine Operator to support printing production in Faribault, MN. This role is responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring UV printing equipment to ensure high‑quality, accurate, and efficient output across various substrates including paper, plastic, glass, and metal.

Responsibilities
  • Set up UV printers, load inks, calibrate print heads, and adjust machine settings for each job.
  • Load, align, and inspect substrates; stack and label finished products for internal transport.
  • Operate UV printing equipment and input production instructions using automated machine software.
  • Perform ongoing quality checks to ensure color accuracy, resolution, and overall print quality; adjust equipment as needed.
  • Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes to detect malfunctions and maintain performance standards.
  • Conduct routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, consumable replacement, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Manage color profiles to ensure consistent color reproduction.
  • Schedule and organize print jobs to meet production deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate production data, machine settings, and maintenance records in Epicor.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, designers, and quality teams to support smooth workflow.
  • Follow SOPs, plant directives, and all safety and PPE requirements.
  • Maintain inventory of materials and supplies for continuous operation.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • At least 3 months of UV printing experience.
  • Ability to read work instructions, safely operate machines, and inspect printed parts.
  • Strong attention to detail with consistent accuracy and timely task completion.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical secondary education or vocational training in printing or graphic arts.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to perform simple math and interpret SOPs, process sheets, and tally/scrap reports.
  • Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
  • Proficiency with UV printer setup, operation, and software.
  • Knowledge of color management and printing techniques.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic troubleshooting and maintenance abilities.

Schedule: 
  • 1st shift, Friday-Sunday, 5:00am-5:30pm
