Senior Project Manager, Healthcare Construction
Dallas–Fort Worth | Full-Time | $125,000–$145,000 + Bonus | Ground-Up & Complex Renovation

Build the spaces communities depend on.
Clinics. Surgical centers. LTACs. Medical office buildings. The healthcare facilities our client has been delivering across DFW for more than 20 years — alongside a strong portfolio in mission-critical, commercial, education, and industrial work.
Our client is a family-owned DFW general contractor with over 40 years of experience and a reputation built on craftsmanship, integrity, and long-term relationships with the region's top healthcare systems. They're not chasing mega-projects — they specialize in the kind of mid-market healthcare and commercial work where execution, attention to detail, and the relationship matter more than size. They're growing, and they're hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects from preconstruction through turnover.
If you're an experienced PM who runs your projects tight, knows Procore, and wants to be a key player on a tenured team rather than a cog in a large GC — keep reading.

What you'll do
You'll own healthcare and commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout — the budget, the schedule, the team, and the client relationship. Day to day, you'll:
  • Lead ground-up and complex renovation projects across healthcare, mission-critical, and commercial sectors
  • Manage budgeting, scheduling, procurement, cost control, forecasting, change management, and pay applications
  • Ensure full compliance with healthcare codes and regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission and applicable Texas authorities
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Run project documentation and workflows in Procore
  • Anticipate risks early and put mitigation strategies in place before they become problems
  • Lead owner, team, and subcontractor meetings that keep everyone aligned and informed
  • Champion jobsite safety alongside field leadership
  • Coach and develop assistant project managers, project engineers, and support staff
What we're looking for
  • Experienced project manager with a strong track record running ground-up commercial construction
  • Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred — clinics, ambulatory surgical centers, LTACs, medical office buildings, or hospital renovations
  • Open to strong candidates from K-12, mission-critical, or commercial ground-up backgrounds
  • Procore proficiency is a must
  • Experience across design-build, CMAR, and lump sum delivery methods
  • Working knowledge of healthcare construction standards, infection control, and compliance processes
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and client relationship skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred but not required
  • OSHA 30 preferred; LEED, CHC, or PMP a plus
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $125,000–$145,000, depending on experience
Bonus Structure:
  • Project-specific bonuses tied to performance
  • Annual bonus equal to 2% of gross profit
Health & Wellness:
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 100% company-paid life insurance
Retirement:
  • IRA with company matching
Time Off:
  • Paid time off and company holidays
Vehicle & Communications:
  • $500/month vehicle reimbursement plus company gas card
  • $50/month cell phone allowance
Plus: Professional development, continued training, and a steady pipeline of meaningful work.
