Pipefitter Foreman responsible for leading a team to handle material take offs and the assembly of piping systems IN THE FIELD to produce high-quality products. Piping systems will range in size from ½” to 12” diameter, and connection types including: butt weld, socket weld, flanged, and threaded.

Pay: $35-$37 DOE

No per diem, local only
Primary Responsibilities:
Experience leading a crew (or crews) of pipe fitters and welders (at least 3-5 craft workers) on piping projects in an industrial setting. Experience planning piping projects to include: Equipment installation, pipe support locations and installation, pipe routing, tie-in connections and shut down requirements. Experience running piping through active industrial production facilities is required. Experience working with butt weld and socket weld systems, up to and including 8” diameter steel pipe. Understand P&ID (Process and Instrument Diagrams) and can coordinate installation of valves and instruments as shown on the drawings.
Requirements:
Must pass 10-panel drug screening. 2-5 years of previous experience in pipe fitting, preferably in an industrial environment, as well as 2 to 4 years of experience as a lead or supervisor. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards, in addition to familiarity with SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding processes. OSHA 10 certification. Flexibility to work in both clean (food-grade) and dirty (recycling facilities) environments. Reliable transportation with active driver’s license.
