Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily warehouse and production operations at a leading manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for accurate material movement, inventory transactions, and maintaining an organized, safe work environment while supporting production schedules.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily warehouse and production operations at a leading manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for accurate material movement, inventory transactions, and maintaining an organized, safe work environment while supporting production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct material transactions based on production schedules and ERP system signals
- Pull, issue, and transfer parts within the ERP system (training provided)
- Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job travelers, and sales orders
- Operate and become certified on various forklifts and material-handling equipment
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
- Clean, organize, and restock warehouse and production areas
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous material handling experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read instructions and visually inspect materials and parts
- Strong attention to detail with accurate and timely work performance
- Effective communication skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend directives written in English
- Forklift experience or willingness to become certified
- Ability to lift and/or carry or move weight up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent lifting, standing, bending, and reaching required.
PPE Requirements
- Safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection
Employment Type & Compensation
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour
- Application Period: This position will remain open until filled
Work Schedule
- 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
