Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for transporting products safely and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a strong safety record, operating equipment responsibly, and representing the company professionally at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport products to customer locations and distribution points.
- Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections while maintaining accurate driver logs and required documentation.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Deliver products on schedule while providing courteous and professional customer service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any transportation issues.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations while promoting a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with an acceptable driving record.
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) covers at least 10 years of driving history.
- Ability to meet all DOT physical, drug screening, and regulatory requirements.
- (PSP) pre-employment screening program
- FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse report. Background / Drug test (5-Panel) – random screenings throughout the year even for non-DOT employees
- Previous CDL driving experience preferred; experience delivering building materials or similar products is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and excellent customer service.
- Ability to load, unload, secure, and inspect freight as needed, including occasional lifting of materials.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
Employment Type & Compensation
- Full-Time | Direct Hire position
- Compensation: $67,000.00 annually
- Application Period: This position will remain open until filled
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday (home at least once through the week)
- Occasional Saturdays
- No Sundays
