Position Summary
As a Laminator, you will be responsible for loading, operating, and adjusting lamination equipment in the production of mining and industrial laminated fabrics. You will participate in the ISO quality assurance process by demonstrating a commitment to quality by continuously inspecting materials throughout the entire process and documenting imperfections as they arise.

As a Laminator, you will be responsible for loading, operating, and adjusting lamination equipment in the production of mining and industrial laminated fabrics. Key Responsibilities
- Understands materials needed for pick list in production runs, including properly identifying film and scrim for production
- Programs printer for printed materials.
- Identify and record quality deficient fabrics.
- Monitor adhesive rate, temperature, pressure levels, and cutter specifications
- Complete all aspects of laydown rolls, including operation, removal & installation, along with Embossing and bed roll removal and installation
- Package materials per customer specifications.
- Performs trouble shooting of mechanical problems.
- Notifies leadman, foreman or supervisor of any major incidence of recurring equipment malfunction or poor-quality raw materials or quality deficient production of fabrics.
- Assists with inventory counts as requested.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements
- Executes further tasks as requested by Management.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Forklift training and certification preferred
- Ability to read gauges, weight scales and tape measures
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbal and written
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand plant directives in English
- Attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, twist, reach, and flex for extended periods
- PPE requirements: safety googles, slip resistant shoes
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $18.25 per hour
- Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
- 1s shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 P<
- Saturdays, Sundays | OT as needed
