Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Representative to develop new business and strengthen customer relationships throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This position focuses on generating opportunities for HVAC controls installation, retrofit, and service projects while developing customized building automation solutions for customers. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC and building automation systems along with proven sales and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Representative to develop new business and strengthen customer relationships throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This position focuses on generating opportunities for HVAC controls installation, retrofit, and service projects while developing customized building automation solutions for customers. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC and building automation systems along with proven sales and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities for HVAC controls installation, retrofit, and service projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with mechanical contractors, general contractors, consulting engineers, facility managers, and building owners.
- Review construction plans and specifications to develop project estimates and proposals.
- Present building automation and HVAC controls solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Negotiate project awards, service agreements, and long-term customer relationships.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and collaborate with operations to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of sales experience in HVAC controls, building automation, or commercial HVAC.
- Strong technical knowledge of DDC, BAS, and commercial HVAC systems.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications and prepare accurate project estimates.
- Ability to develop customer relationships and generate new business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market as needed.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Compensation:
- $80,000 – $110,000 annually, based on experience
