Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable General Labor team member to support a manufacturing operation producing window components. Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor bending machinery to produce window components according to production specifications.
- Set up machines, make basic adjustments, and monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and product quality.
- Read work orders, measurements, and production instructions to ensure products meet the required specifications.
- Perform routine quality inspections and identify or report defects, equipment issues, or production concerns to the supervisor.
- Safely handle and move materials throughout the production process while maintaining an organized work area.
- Assist with machine cleaning, basic troubleshooting, and routine maintenance while following all safety and quality procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but it is not required.
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and dependability are essential.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and operate production machinery.
- Ability to work efficiently while meeting daily production and quality expectations.
- PPE Required: Safety glasses, ear plugs depending on station assigned to.
Additional Work Schedule Information:
- Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm (12:00am for overtime)
- Occasional Saturdays, 6-8 hours overtime available
