Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team in Addison, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC HAAS vertical milling machines.
The CNC Operator will ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to safety standards and quality specifications, contributing to efficient production in a fast-paced factory environment.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team in Addison, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC HAAS vertical milling machines.
The CNC Operator will ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to safety standards and quality specifications, contributing to efficient production in a fast-paced factory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate HAAS vertical mill
- Perform tooling changes, adjustments, and calibrations to maintain optimal machine performance.
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Maintain proper documentation of machining processes and quality checks.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of hand tools, welding equipment, and factory safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or related equipment within a manufacturing facility.
- Manual mill knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of GD&T standards for blueprint reading and quality control processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and perform basic math calculations for machining tolerances.
- Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and factory procedures.
Employment & Compensation
- Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire | Permanent placement with employer
- Pay Rate: $24.00- $29.00 per hour, based on experience
