CNC Lathe Machinist – Paw Paw, MI
Pay: $18-$25 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Overview:

As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce precision metal components according to blueprints, sketches, and specifications. You’ll play an essential role in ensuring all parts meet quality standards from start to finish while keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes according to work orders and blueprints.
  • Interpret and work from drawings, manuals, sketches, and specifications.
  • Perform shop math calculations to ensure precision and accuracy.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and adjustments to machinery as needed.
  • Inspect and verify the quality of parts throughout the machining process.
  • Deburr and finish parts from start to completion.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of CNC lathe machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles and basic setups.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
  • You must provide your own tools.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
