Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Assistant Supervisor to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with the Production Supervisor to lead fabrication associates, ensure quality standards, maintain workflow efficiency, and promote a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support daily fabrication operations to meet production and quality goals.
  • Assign work, balance workloads, and coordinate schedules.
  • Monitor processes to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate production and material data in ERP (Epicor preferred).
  • Support training, coaching, and performance development of team members.
  • Oversee equipment readiness and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain material flow.
  • Promote safety, Lean practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Prior leadership or lead-role experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes and blueprint reading.
  • Experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must adhere to PPE requirements including eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection.

Shift: Monday–Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
