Position Summary:
We are searching for an experienced Reach Truck Picker to support operations at a warehouse facility located in Ashland, VA. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks ensuring the efficient movement and handling of materials within the warehouse facility. Duties may include picking orders and preparing them for shipment, receiving and processing inbound materials, and entering data into the computer and RF systems. In addition, you will maintain documentation for all incoming and outbound orders and perform overall quality checks. Reach truck experience (stand up forklift) is required, and you must be available to start immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Operate reach truck forklift (stand up forklift)
- Order picking
- Packaging
- Receiving and processing inbound materials
- Entering data into computer and RF systems
- Maintain documentation
- Quality inspection
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Requirements:
- Prior warehouse experience
- Reach Truck operation experience (stand up forklift) is required
- Ability to effectively lift 50 lbs. continuously throughout the shift.
- Ability to work 8+ hours standing, stooping, twisting, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, lifting.
- Comfortable using hand tools or willing to learn. Must have a consistent work history
- Steel Toe boots required (additional PPE provided)
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday | 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
Compensation:
- $19.00 per hour
