Position Summary

Responsibilities
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join a warehouse team in Oakwood, GA. This position is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, stack, and stage materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safe and accurate work.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to safely move, locate, stack, count, and stage products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and transport palletized or crated materials to designated storage areas.
- Stack materials in assigned locations and follow inventory control procedures, using an RF scanner when required.
- Load materials into machine hoppers and remove attachments, waste, or materials from production equipment as needed.
- Inspect loads, products, and materials for damage or discrepancies and report concerns promptly.
- Complete pre-shift equipment inspections, perform basic equipment care, and follow all safety procedures and operating instructions.
Requirements
- Previous forklift or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift for extended periods, including driving in reverse.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to judge distances, heights, and surrounding hazards.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow operating instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures and maintain a safe, productive work environment.
Schedule:
- Wednesday – Sunday
- 7:30 AM – Until the job is completed
Compensation:
- $19.00 per hour
