Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Laborer to support production and material handling operations in a manufacturing environment in Garland, TX. This is a hands-on position involving the handling of solid materials, powdered metals, and industrial materials. The work includes loading production equipment, breaking down and processing material, moving materials throughout the production area, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Training and guidance will be provided.

Responsibilities:
  • Load solid materials into production machinery and start basic machine cycles.
  • Monitor materials throughout the production process and make adjustments as directed.
  • Break down solid metal or material blocks ("bricks") and load them into a crusher.
  • Process materials into approximately 1-inch-sized pieces.
  • Safely handle powdered metal, carbon-based materials, and other industrial materials.
  • Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the production area.
  • Follow instructions from the Shop Manager and production team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all facility safety procedures, PPE requirements, respiratory protection guidelines, and hazardous-material protocols.
Requirements:
  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on work throughout the shift.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and established safety procedures.
  • Comfortable working around industrial powders, metals, and other manufacturing materials
  • Must be willing and able to wear required PPE, including a respirator/protective mask, gloves, protective clothing, and safety footwear.
  • Steel-toe boots are preferred.
  • Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday | 5:45 am –2:15 pm  
  • 30-minute lunch
Compensation:
  • $17.00 per hour
