Position Summary
As a Certified Electrician, you will work on a variety of projects, including installing solar systems, supporting existing customers, and gaining experience with energy storage and other emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the installation of electrical systems that connect residential solar arrays to grid power.
- Ensure all electrical work is completed with quality workmanship and in compliance with current NEC and local codes.
- Complete solar battery installations as assigned.
- Troubleshoot system issues and resolve electrical problems efficiently and safely.
- Safely plan and complete Main Panel Upgrades (MPUs).
- Coordinate with branch teams and homeowners to complete system upgrades or repairs needed to support solar equipment.
- Work with local inspectors to meet applicable requirements and expectations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Travel up to 5% as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Electrical installation and repair experience required.
- Experience performing electrical work involving wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC.
- Working knowledge of residential electrical service replacements and distribution panel upgrades preferred.
- Valid Journeyman License, Electrician Certification, wireman license, or equivalent credential required based on local and state requirements.
- Clean driving record required, with the ability to pass a driving background check.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Direct Hire
- Pay rate is $32.00 – $53.00 per hour, based on experience
