Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to join a fast-paced warehouse and distribution team in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to move, load, unload, and stage materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has prior forklift experience, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to following safety procedures while contributing to a productive, team-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of highly sophisticated packing machines, ensuring the inbound/outbound schedules are met.  
  • Work as part of a team to load and/or unload materials.  
  • Comply with company policies and safety guidelines, helping to maintain a safe and orderly work environment.  
  • Meet quality and performance requirements as outlined by quality assurance and production standards.  
  • Accurately pick, pack, check, and load products to and from designated areas in the facility, as well as on and off trailers.  
  • Move materials packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.  
  • Stack loads in the correct storage bays, following inventory-control instructions.  
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.  
  • Keep accurate production records and report issues.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent  
  • 1 year of related work experience  
  • RF Scanner experience preferred  
  • OSHA forklift certification or operating experience preferred
  • Attention to detail and efficient basic computer skills  
  • Proven ability to use basic mathematical skills  
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and work ethic  
  • Must be able to take direction from multiple supervisors  
  • Highly organized and efficient at prioritizing workload  
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure at a fast pace  
  • Capable of following work instructions of high repetitions  
  • Demonstrate the ability to be cross trained on different jobs  
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed
  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently is required.  
  • Spanish speaking preferred
  • Safety toe boots/shoes required
Employment Type & Compensation
  • Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
  • Compensation: $18.00 per hour
  • Application Period: This position will remain open until filled
Work Schedule
  • 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
