We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse facility. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily operations by ensuring warehouse, office, breakroom, and restroom areas remain clean and well-maintained. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows established safety procedures, and thrives in a physically active warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain warehouse floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and operating floor-cleaning equipment as needed.
- Sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas while replenishing paper products, soap, and other supplies.
- Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean windows, doors, workstations, and other surfaces to maintain a professional appearance.
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Respond promptly to spills and other housekeeping needs to help maintain a safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with general facility upkeep and support additional housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working around warehouse equipment, including forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
Employment Type & Compensation
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Compensation: $17.00 per hour
- Application Period: This position will remain open until filled
Work Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
