Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to support our client’s warehouse operations in Charlotte, NC. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, be comfortable working at heights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and report findings to management.
  • Operate order pickers and other powered industrial equipment to access inventory stored at elevated rack locations.
  • Conduct inventory audits and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
  • Verify product locations, quantities, and item information during counting activities.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory replenishment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous inventory control, warehouse, or cycle counting experience preferred.
  • Experience operating order pickers, cherry pickers, or similar warehouse equipment is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights while performing inventory counts.
  • Ability to accurately count, track, and reconcile inventory.
  • Basic computer skills and experience using inventory management systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the work shift.
  • Comfortable working at elevated heights while operating order pickers and conducting cycle counts.
  • Steel-toed boots or steel-toed shoes are required.
  • Additional required PPE will be provided by the company
Employment Type & Compensation
  • This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
  • Pay rate is $15.50 per hour
  • Application Window: Open until filled  
Work Schedule
  • Monday – Friday | 4:00 AM – 1:00 PM
