Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Truss Builder to join a manufacturing team in Albertville, MN. This position is responsible for assembling roof and floor trusses according to blueprints, production schedules, and quality standards. Ideal candidates enjoy hands-on work, can safely operate power tools and equipment, and work well in a fast-paced team environment. Previous construction, carpentry, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Truss Builder to join a manufacturing team in Albertville, MN. This position is responsible for assembling roof and floor trusses according to blueprints, production schedules, and quality standards. Ideal candidates enjoy hands-on work, can safely operate power tools and equipment, and work well in a fast-paced team environment. Previous construction, carpentry, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble roof trusses and floor trusses using blueprints and engineered drawings
- Perform framing, measuring, cutting, and assembly of wood components
- Operate power tools and equipment (saws, nail guns, drills, pneumatic tools)
- Read and interpret construction plans and production specs
- Ensure all products meet quality control standards
- Assist with material handling, staging, and general labor tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in construction, carpentry, framing, or manufacturing preferred (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
- Ability to read blueprints or learn quickly
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, standing, repetitive work)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Team player with a positive attitude
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $23.00 per hour
- Application Window: Open until filled
