Position Summar
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Lead to oversee daily production operations within a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment in Huntersville, NC. This role is responsible for leading production team members, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and maintaining efficient workflow throughout the shift. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of driving productivity while fostering a positive team environment. The Production Lead will work closely with supervisors and cross-functional departments to meet production goals, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for leading production team members, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and maintaining efficient workflow throughout the shift. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of driving productivity while fostering a positive team environment. The Production Lead will work closely with supervisors and cross-functional departments to meet production goals, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the production team’s quality efficient numbers
- Balancing quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas; working to continuously improve in all areas
- Managing departmental performance measures, including visual controls and providing regular progress reports
- Ability to understand the production schedule and ensure the schedule is followed
- Monitor systematic key performance indicators (KPI’s) and help with continuous improvement on said findings
- Record daily numbers and send updated report throughout the day and end of shift
- Ensuring adherence to all company policies including but not limited to: GMP, PPE, Food Safety, Safety, Gluten Free, Sanitation, etc.
- Maintain facility and employees to always be audit ready
- Complete production reports
- Tracking absenteeism and timekeeping and backfilling for needed positions
- Discipline and coach according to company policies and document
- Training all employees that report to you
- Assure safety standards are maintained in all production areas including PPE requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and speak in English
- Previous experience in a beverage manufacturing facility
- Must be able to improve working conditions (safety, quality, productivity, cost) and increase subordinates' skills and capabilities
- Ability to think ahead and plan over a 30-day time span and prepare action plans to achieve results
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Quality orientation and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a strong team-building skills
- An ability to manage multiple priorities
- Sufficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to provide constant leadership, direction, expectations, and discipline
- Ability to understand and use basic computer applications and data collection and recording (Excel, SAP, Email, etc.)
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $19.00 per hour
- Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
- Nights | 2-2-3 Schedule | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
