Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Coordinator / Driver to support manufacturing and warehouse operations at our Faribault, MN facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate material flow, timely delivery, and strong production support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Material Coordinator / Driver will coordinate materials within the facility while also serving as a backup cube truck driver as needed.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Coordinator / Driver to support manufacturing and warehouse operations at our Faribault, MN facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate material flow, timely delivery, and strong production support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Material Coordinator / Driver will coordinate materials within the facility while also serving as a backup cube truck driver as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Function as the backup cube truck driver, ensuring safe, timely material transportation as required.
- Clean, restock, and organize warehouse and material storage areas.
- Ensure timely and accurate material delivery in support of production schedules.
- Execute all material transactions using Epicor (ERP).
- Read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs related to material handling and equipment operation.
- Comprehend and act on production schedules in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Safely operate powered industrial vehicles within the facility.
- Read and understand job travelers, pick lists, and system‑generated workflow assignments.
- Help define, improve, and uphold material handling process standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation for material movement and transactions.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements
- Perform additional projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Class D (or higher) driver’s license with a current DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in material handling within a manufacturing environment or proven knowledge of material handling best practices.
- Experience using an ERP system (Epicor preferred).
- Ability to read instructions, safely operate equipment, and visually inspect raw materials.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally in a team environment.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and coordination abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives in English.
Employment & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Direct Hire | Permanent Placement with employer
- Pay rate is $20.00 per hour

- 1st Shift | Monday-Thursday | 5:00am-3:30pm
