We’re hiring a hands-on Fabrication Metal Prep Associate to support daily production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on preparing and finishing metal components to meet quality standards while working safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Operate fabrication equipment and tools safely to support production needs
- Clean, deburr, polish, and finish metal components to required specifications
- Follow work orders, production instructions, and standard procedures
- Inspect parts to ensure quality and identify defects
- Complete basic production reporting and enter data into internal systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with additional fabrication or production tasks as needed
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or a related environment
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and perform basic inspections
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math and computer/data entry skills
- Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a production environment with safety requirements and PPE
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience reading blueprints, process sheets, or using production systems is a plus
- Mechanical or assembly experience is helpful but not required
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is an Urgent Hire | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $20.00 per hour
- Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
- Weekend Shift | Friday – Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
