Position Summary
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for manufacturing components by operating and performing basic setups and operation of CNC lathes and milling machines. The ideal candidate will have a background in Aerospace & Defense or Medical industries and a strong commitment to producing precision components that meet strict quality standards.

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for manufacturing components by operating and performing basic setups and operation of CNC lathes and milling machines. The ideal candidate will have a background in Aerospace & Defense or Medical industries and a strong commitment to producing precision components that meet strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes and milling machines
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing.
- Perform precision measurements with calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience operating CNC machinery between 1-2 different companies. Aerospace shop experience highly preferred
- Experience loading parts and running production with occasional edits/offsets
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic math skills for precise measurements.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting machine issues promptly, ability to work in a team and learn, approachable attitude
Schedule and Pay
- This is a full-time direct hire opportunity (permanent placement with the employer)
- Schedule: Days – open to potentially going to night shift
- Pay rate: $20.00-$33.00 per hour (based on experience)
