We are seeking experienced Paint Technicians to support production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for spray painting and finishing molded components in a paint booth setting. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, quality-driven, and able to maintain production pace while ensuring a consistent, high-quality finish.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift| Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm | Overtime as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Spray paint components using paint guns in a booth environment
- Prepare surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and masking
- Mix paints, primers, and finishes according to specifications
- Apply primer and color coats while maintaining consistency and quality
- Match colors to samples and ensure proper finish
- Inspect finished parts and identify and correct defects
- Maintain and clean paint equipment, booths, and work areas
- Meet production targets while adhering to quality standards
- Follow all safety requirements and properly use PPE
Qualifications
- 3+ years of spray-painting experience (automotive body or industrial preferred)
- Experience with paint preparation, mixing, and application
- Ability to maintain high-quality output in a production-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail with solid color matching ability
- Ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and transportation
- Experience in auto body or manufacturing paint environments (preferred)
- Experience working in a high-volume or production setting (preferred)
