The Senior Superintendent will serve as the on-site operational leader for large-scale municipal and civic construction projects, driving field execution from preconstruction through closeout. This role is accountable for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with quality standards and client expectations.
Operating as a strategic partner to project management, the Senior Superintendent will lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and interface with public sector stakeholders to successfully execute complex builds such as government facilities, public safety buildings, educational institutions, and community infrastructure. This position requires a proactive leader with strong technical acumen, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end field leadership for municipal/civic construction projects from mobilization to final turnover
- Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules, ensuring milestone adherence and proactive risk mitigation
- Lead and enforce jobsite safety programs in alignment with OSHA and company standards
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality execution
- Partner with Project Managers to align field operations with budget, scope, and client expectations
- Conduct regular site meetings, inspections, and progress reporting with internal teams and public stakeholders
- Identify and resolve field issues, constructability challenges, and design discrepancies in real time
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly within public sector projects
- Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents and field staff, fostering a high-performance culture
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience supporting municipal, civic, or public-sector projects such as city halls, libraries police/fire stations, or similar government facilities, and 3 years of supervisory experience in a field leading role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive experience coordinating subcontractors and sequencing construction objectives
- Working knowledge of ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals
- Technology proficiency: Microsoft Office, MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam
- Experience with CMAR and/or Design – Build delivery methods
- Team oriented with a strong commitment to client service
- Willingness to travel to Allen, Teas
- OSHA 10 is required (OSHA 30 preferred). Any public-sector or construction management coursework a plus
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive to the Allen, TX project site and city meetings
