Position Summary
We are seeking a Material Coordinator to support the Materials Department at our client’s Faribault, MN facility. Reporting to the Materials Supervisor, this role plays a critical part in supporting production operations by ensuring the right inventory is in the right place at the right time.

We are seeking a Material Coordinator to support the Materials Department at our client’s Faribault, MN facility. Reporting to the Materials Supervisor, this role plays a critical part in supporting production operations by ensuring the right inventory is in the right place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute material transactions in alignment with production schedules using Epicor (ERP)
- Support receiving and putting away inbound materials from dock to designated warehouse locations
- Select, verify, and stage sales orders, ensuring accurate quantity and quality for customers and production
- Maintain accurate inventory levels by performing transfers, issues, cycle counts, and transactions within Epicor
- Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to safely and efficiently support material flow
- Interpret job travelers, pick lists, sales orders, and system-generated work assignments
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts and material handling equipment); certification provided as needed
- Comprehend and act on production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Clean, restock, and organize warehouse and material storage areas
- Adhere to all PPE and safety requirements, including eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection
- Perform additional projects and duties as assigned based on business needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in material handling within a manufacturing environment or demonstrated knowledge of material handling best practices
- Experience using an ERP system (Epicor preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives in English
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills with accurate data entry experience
- Ability to perform simple mathematics to interpret process sheets, SOPs, tally sheets, and inventory documentation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift frequently throughout the shift
Employment & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $20.00 per hour
- Application Window: Open until filled
Schedule
- 1st shift: Monday-Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
