Responsibilities
- Machine parts based on blueprints, sketches, and sample parts
- Program directly at the machine, including selecting tooling, speeds, feeds, and identifying process improvements
- Set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes, as well as a manual lathe
- Run your own work and assist with machine setups for other operators as needed
- Utilize available computer and programming software to support machining operations
- Maintain quality, accuracy, and safety standards always
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of machining experience in a related role
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, setup, and operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Comfortable working independently and supporting team operations
PPE & Safety Requirements
- Safety glasses with side shields (required at all times on the shop floor)
- Steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes
- Hearing protection as required in designated areas
- Gloves appropriate for material handling (not worn near rotating equipment)
- Compliance with all shop safety policies and OSHA guidelines
Schedule: 1st Shift | 8:00am-5:00pm | Monday-Friday
